NMRLS Intake Call Center

North Mississippi Rural Legal Services (NMRLS) now has an Intake Call Center to provide improved access to civil legal services for it's client community.

The Call Center currently operates
Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please call the number below and choose Option #1.
At the 2nd prompt, choose option #1 again
and listen for the instructions:

Qualified applicants will receive counsel and advice, referral, or an appointment for extended services if needed.

NMRLS Online Intake

In addition to our Intake Call Center, NMRLS offers an online form to apply for legal services. You should only apply online if you have a case that is not an emergency.

If you have an emergency such as a case that has a hearing date or a case that needs an answer to be filed, you should not apply online. You should contact the Intake Call Center.

Mississippi Tax Payer Assistance Project

The Mississippi Taxpayer Assistance Project (MTAP) is a project of North Mississippi Rural Legal Services (NMRLS), and provides assistance to low income and English as a Second Language (ESL) taxpayers throughout Mississippi. It provides low income taxpayers with free legal assistance on federal and some state tax matters.
